2026 Private Property Adaptation Program Grant Application

Welcome to the application page for the Private Property Adaptation (PPA) Program!

The application period for this cohort is open from February 24 - April 24, 2026.

You will need the following documentation in order to be able to submit an application. The application process will further detail which documentation is acceptable.

  1. Property Elevation Certificate (We must have this exact document to review your property for eligibility. General surveys will not be accepted.)
  2. Proof of ACTIVE Flood Insurance (Expired policies cannot be accepted, nor can homeowners' insurance that does not include flood coverage.)
  3. Proof of Property Ownership 

You will also need to provide:

  1. Proof of Identity
  2. Income Information (Required for Low-To-Moderate Income Applicants)
  3. Historic Designation (If Applicable)
  4. Corporate Resolution by Condo Association Authorizing Application Submission (If Applicable)
  5. Proof of Incorporation and in Good Standing (If Applicable)
  6. Affidavit from Commercial Property Owner Consenting to Program Application (If Applicable)
  7. Photos of any flooding and documentation of any flood insurance claims you filed (If Applicable)
